We craft meaningful bangles for strong and creative women.

Picture
We aim not only to make beautiful bangles and accessories, but jewelry that, when worn, inspire women and constantly remind them to embrace life's challenges and adventures. Our crafts are made right in our artist’s home in the Philippines. The designs are meant to tell different stories about how it is to be a woman in pursuit of her passions.

Our bangles are made of copper, in shades of rose gold and dark earthy red-brown, which our artist crafts by hand to create different intricate designs. Our artist incorporates different gemstones, natural stones, fused glass art and beadings into the designs to bring more life into the handcrafted bangles.

The Bangles

Picture
Part of our ancient Filipino tradition is the practice of using certain stones to aid in both physical and spiritual healing. This is why our shop is named after the “babaylan”, which is the reference used for the female or female-identifying priestess, healer and leader of the ancient Filipino tribe.

The Meaningfulness

Some of our bangles are wishes of love, good health, prosperity and courage. Some of our bangles speak of life’s laughable ironies and challenges, the adventure of self-realization and the romantic life of being true to your one-of-a-kind self. Still, there are many other stories and inspirations to explore in our collection.

With every bangle is a card that tells you of the meaning of that particular design. This makes our bangles great gifts for oneself or for someone special.

We hope for you to wear our bangle to remind you that you are strong, creative and beautiful. As you hold up a cup of coffee to face the rest of your day, we hope that the bold design around your wrist will encourage you to persist and keep on going.

The Team

Our Philippine-based founder and lead artist, Elaine Orozco, has been crafting these bangles by hand - and excelling in her passion - for more than 10 years now. Her California-based marketing assistant, Psyche Resus, brings out the poetry in her meaningful designs and explores new shores for their crafts.
